Crikey: Day 1

Jane when she left the house this morning...

Jane when she got home...

It comes down to public transport more than anything. An hour in, an hour out and all in the wake of that dreadful anomaly: daylight savings.
I was pleased to arrive on time, albeit wearing most of my camomile tea, and picking tobacco from my teeth. Welcomed, I was put to the task of fetching coffee, and that's when I knew without doubt that I really AM an intern.

Media briefs carefully compiled (yes reader, newspapers are becomming extinct) I trotted off to RMIT where I was lucky enough to miss the first half hour of a lecture kindly delivered by that conniseur of modern thought: Andrew Bolt.

Chased a story, ate a sushi roll, did a fantastic interview with Susan Helyar from Uniting Care Australia, and formulated a plan to take over the world.
Plan currently on hold and does not involve any kind of coffee or fetching or coffee fetching.

I just hope I don't finish tomorrow looking like Amanda Vanstone...
